States he left Partido de Sonora to baptize Indians in pueblos Zenoquipe (Sinoquipe), Arispe (Arizpe), Cucubazunichi. In Sinoquipe, Indian governor told him they would rather die like dogs than be baptized. Indian governor Arizpe also refused baptism. In Cucubazunichi, many hechiceros, Indians threatened Canal with arms. Also mentions missionary activity Guepaca (Huepac), Vanamitzi (Banamichi). States he just built 2 houses pinewood. (T.
