Summary
A relatively detailed ethnohistory of Julimeno Indians in Coahuila; Ugarte argues they should be deported to Havana; provides many comments on Julimeno origins, movement into province from Nueva Vizcaya (1737), and subsequent interaction with Spaniards; few details on Indian lifeways have been included; most comments focus on Julimenos secret hostility towards Spaniards, locations of their communities, and their alliance with hostile Apaches; other information provided on Apache raids and population distributions on province's frontiers.
