Mention of Urava as being recognized comandante general of military matters in the four eastern provinces and of Coronel Castro as being named comandante general of eastern provinces and sub-inspector of its troops. Castro is employed under same terms as his predecessor and is to be responsible for political matters. Mention of information to aid Santa Maria in appointments for juzgados of prohibited beverages. Discusses recognition of Pedro the Lexena as count of Lexena. Discussion of captive Chaves going to visit relatives. royal pardon to smugglers extending it in favor of prohibited beverages.
