Correspondence concerning: rise of salary for sargent; charity of priest to give birth to children of dead mothers; questions whether to go out and pursue Indians or stay inside presidio, also about recollection of funds for Nuestra Senora de Loreto party and for gunpowder; questioning by Cazorla of his subordination to comandante inspector and comandante of Bahia; aknowledgement of money received through representative Llanos de Vergara and complaint of lack of resources for troops under Cazorla; mention of impossibility of naming representative for inspection of funds due to unavailability of skilled men; and account of constructions made in Bahia.
