Summary
Lain goes to capital from Santa Fe to petition virrey to pay him and others difference in pension cut (lowered in 1784) to be able to return home; also requests pensions for Monte Pio and inbalidos to be raised to previous amount; 350 pesos conceded for his return trip; capitan general admonished not to send anyone else to capital on such business if they cannot afford return trip.
