Scribe named; testimony of witnesses; notes concerning earlier desertion; testimony of Orozco; declares he was lost and when put right found himself closer to his home town than presidio so went there; Orozco convicted with some mitigating circumstances, that he lacked support for a few days and got lost while looking for animals; testimony concerning mitigating circumstances; notice that cowboy cited by Orozco not employed in region; Orozco convicted, eventually set free June 20, 1820.
