Summary
The ayuntamiento de Chihuahua sends a letter to Bonavia asking if the prisoners are actually in his custody and not in the presidio ultramarino. The Ayuntamiento sends a copy to virrey. Bonavia answers the ayuntamiento de Chihuahua stressing that they should respect his actions and not listen to ligerezas. Virrey orders Bonavia to change his residence and stop the problems in Chihuahua; Bonavia answers virrey that he will obey but he still does not understand why he has to be in Chihuahua. The fiscal gives information to the virrey concerning the events in Chihuahua and Bonavia's case; ayuntamiento de Chihuahua sends a letter to Bonavia telling him that he misunderstood their letter and that they have the right to appeal. Fiscal suggests virrey stop Bonavias misconduct. (D. Bautista, 1989)
