Summary
Arredondo informs virrey of news from Consul Fatio of war plans by U.s. against Spain. Fatio cites outraged announcements in U.s. Newspapers of death of Perry and Gordon at hands of Spanish troops, and advertisements in U.s. soliciting population of Texas by american families.
