Ff.491-493 real Alencaster is relieved of his duties in government of Nueva Mexico (apparently fired). F.494 Navarro is being transferred to Hospital in Monclova; given passport for entire family, defensive arms for trip. Ff.495-503 are requests by Arredondo, Arreola, Llorente for supplies for presidios, special mention of Tula, Chontla. Ff.504-506 Puertas writes vaguely of political angst, poor morale since death of Aromeivia. (A. Dean, December 1989)
