Copies of letters to Corbalan concerning Hiaqui and Mayo Indians must pay tribute to virrey. The letters also mention that indio Calixto must be reducido (to defeat him). Corbalan answers that Indians in his Jurisdiccion can not pay taxes because they are very poor. Concerns distribution of lands around Mayo, Fuerte and Hiaqui rivers to Indians in Jurisdiccion de Sinaloa. (R. Gomez, November 1989)
