Summary
In this document lt. Jose Pascual claims that the Jesuit ^doctrina^ of San Pedro de las Lagunas is an unjustified action by the Jesuits and that the Jesuits are to blame for the current unrest and second rebellion of the Tarahumara and other ^naturales.^ the Jesuits respond through padre Escandon, outlining the history of the royal cedula granting them their right; and also pointing out that San Pedro actually falls in the jurisdiction of Parras not San Joseph, and continues by outlining the corrupt practices of the miners who try to capture the Indians for labor and disregard the kings laws.
