Mal-treatment of Indians.
July to October, 1653 orig. Sgnd.
The Indians complain of bad treatment, plus the fact that the hacienda is encroaching on their land and stealing their water. The fact that Guajardo Fajardo hears the case is significant. The document is either incomplete or judgement is temporarily withheld. Especially interesting for showing manner in which the Indians appealed for aid. (T. Barnes) (1975)
