The new governor Don Antonio Oca Sarmiento orders a review of military expenses. Each Ciudad and Pueblo reports its expenses and a statement of its needs. Information of indio activity under regime of past governor Francisco de Gorraez Beaumont. Sarmiento only lasted in his post less than a full year.
