Manuel Concha-Juaquin Amezquete. Prices and availability of provision.
Valle de San Bartholome. February 15, 1790. 6p. Letter. Original. Signed.
Concha writes Amezquete that harina is selling for 12 pesos, Reales, and maiz at 6 pesos. He says salt has arrived but doesn't know if it will be bartered. He says maiz is scarce but wheat plentiful, hence maiz may rise to 8 or 9 pesos. Padre Villanueva was supposed to send Pescado, Camaron, and Quesos, but only sent two cheeses. (P. Hayes) (1977)
