Summary
Viceroy orders, in response to Indian requests, establishment of 3 missions along the San Xavier River. Also, orders establishment of a presidio. Gives priests orders for making the missions financially solvent. Also, requests the local government to encourage colonization. (J. Grusin) (1976)
