Summary
Natives of the Pueblo of San Joan petition to the governor accusing Roque Madrid of partiality with respect to certain Spaniards of la Canada. Also, the natives claim that Madrid was instrumental in having at least one of their group flogged, and unjustly so in their view. Madrid is accused of repressive policies by the natives.
