Summary
The presidial soldiers of Santa Fee write to the viceroy complaining of the habitual remissness on the part of the governors in meeting their financial obligations to the soldiers. They say that governor Mogollon is four months late in making due payments and meeting other commercial obligations. They express the acute hardship that they suffer as a result, and appeal for assistance. (Lloyd Kendall) (1980)
