Summary
Copy of diary kept by Bernardo de Bustamante Tagle who led the New Mexico section of the campaign against the Gila Apaches. The New Mexico contingent, which consisted of 30 soldiers, 15 settlers and 110 Indians, was delayed in arriving at Ysleta by a ute attack on Abiquiu. (R. Jackson) (1980)
