Summary
Manuel Venitez states he gave a gold religious relic to soldier Francisco Xavier Fragoso to transport to El Paso for him and that Fragoso then said he lost the relic. Venitez charges he has hidden the object. Decision of governor is for Fragoso to lead Venitez and company of soldiers to spot where was lost. (R. Davis) (1980)
