Summary
A letter concerning the royal patronage exercised by the comandante general of the Provincias Internas, and his authority to delegate the responsibility of visiting the missions and other religious establishments to the governors of the provinces. Neve informs de Anza that he has delegated this authority to the cabildo of the unoccupied seat (bishopric?) of Durango. (Robert H. Jackson) (1980)
