Summary
Lengthy review of interviews and charges against Teguas Indians of Santa Clara, San Yldefonso, San Juan and Nambe for holding secret, unauthorized meetings suspected of planning an alliance with the Yutas against the Spaniards. Eight Indian governors are found guilty and are sentenced punishment ranging from twenty-five lashes up to one year of hard labor and twenty pesos fines. (R. Davis) (1980)
