Summary
Salvador Martin discovers that his store-room has been broken into and a considerable quantity of various types of grain stolen. With the aid of Romo de Bera, the thief is tracked down and found asleep in the company of two burros and his somewhat scattered loot. The thief is apprehended, gives his name as Jose Francisco Garcia, and confesses to the commission of the robbery. Alcalde Tafoya takes depositions from various persons involved in the case, and with the confession of Garcia, sends these papers on to the governor. (Lloyd Kendall) (1980)
