Correspondence between de Croix and Cabello. Concerns- instructions for preparation of soldiers' service and merit records; letter forbidding use of citizens at presidios; and decree forbidding trade of military equipment and horses by presidial soldiers. Included is a vague letter concerning the soldier Manuel Mendez. Also, discusses the difficulties encountered in securing buffalo for the king.
