On the slope of Lions Head (alt. 1000 ft.), shows Leucodendron argentea, stone pine? and a lot of heath like plants. Fairly typical of mt. sides - especially southwest slope. Leucodendron does not occupy a large area in this region - but forms clumps in places on the Table Mt. range. A nice patch at the left fore face of Table Mt. [Shantz travel journal, Aug. 23, 1919]
