Description
Shows typical vegetation consisting of a low spiny shrub with succulent leaves (Carissa arduina) and a small composite, both having the habit of bush sage. Also the low grass with a runner like buffalo (Aristida rangei) and an annual? type. Also a taller Grayia like shrub (Lycium). Most of the ground is bare and rocky and seems to be short of lime although large white lime rock lies near the surface in places. [Shantz travel journal, Sep. 13, 1919]
