General toward Kalahari. Chrysothamnus like shrub and an occasional Mimosa or Acacia horrida. This type continues for miles and there seems to be little change. This whole area is no more grassy than parts of Nevada or Oregon and could easily be regarded as desert shrub. However, Dg.Ds. [desert grassland / desert shrub] is a good designation.
