Description
A general view of the herbaceous vegetation where the trees have apparently been removed. The grasses are prominent, and a grass with a bulbous base seems one of the more prominent. They are low grasses not over 3 ft. high. A plant with the habit of one of our milkweeds but alternate-trifoliate and not milky makes up about a third, while the other third is Pteridium which grows to about 3-4 ft. Trees occur in the back.
