Straight to bank. Trees as above [previous image] with many Borassus palms in back. I see no oil palms along here - but Borassus is most important along here. In fact it is the only tree growth at this time. Some hills ahead show trees near the base but largely grass with an occasional bush on top. [Shantz travel journal, Jan. 22, 1920]
