Description
A head natural size, same as sent into the Dept.A kaffir corn red or pinkish brown, well shaped head and perfectly straight. The plants are very tall, 8-10 ft., and the heads relatively small. It seems to be a very good type - but not as popular as the m'tama, what they call the white seeded kaffir. The red one they call "conge." [Shantz travel journal, Feb. 24, 1920]
