Corn & mango tree, way back - post may show in photo. Rather sandy land and peanuts planted with corn at times. Tricholaena rosea quite abundant here. Round native huts. Mango and Manihot trees. Have not seen fields of manihot. Peanut looks like Voandzeia. Grains are rather short - most of trees cut down .... Field of manihot here, but it is of the sand type - not rank growth, about a ft. high. [Shantz travel journal, Mar. 28, 1920]
