All data are in shapefile format, NAD83, UTM Zone 12, and meters projection and includes FGDC compliant metadata. The data available consists of geospatial data previously available to download from the Arizona Electronic Atlas and the Arizona Historic Census GeoDatabase. Additional data not previously available include US Forest Service Roads, Land Ownership, and various Heath and Crime data.

The Atlas provides downloadable maps to the university and to the public.
