Abstract
Printed broadside, ten pages long, written by the General Gabriel Valencia. The document is a description of the military action in Padierna, which occurred the 19th and 20th of August, 1847, and in which the Mexican forces, led by General Valencia, met the northamerican General, Winfield Scott. In this document, General Valencia informs the Mexican population of the illogical actions taken by Santa-Anna during that battle. Dated, Toluca, August 22, 1847.

Comunicado imprimido de diez páginas escrito por el General Gabriel Valencia. El documento es una descripción de la acción militar en Padierna ocurrida en 1847 el 19 y 20 de agosto en la cual fuerzas mexicanas, bajo la dirección del General Valencia se enfrentaron al General norteamericano, Winfield Scott. En éste documento, el General Valencia informa al pueblo mexicano de las ilógicas acciones de Santa-Anna. El documento lleva la fecha, Toluca, Agosto 22 de 1847.
