Chronological description of an expedition undertaken with the purpose of enlarging Spanish influence in the province of Texas. This expedition was sent a result of French involvement in that area. The author puts great emphasis on the types of vegetation (ie, Mezquites, Alamos, Sabinos, Robles, Nogales, etc.) and animals (deer, rabbit and a detailed description of the Zibolo or toro Mexicano) found on their way. Describes the re-establishment of previously abandoned missions and the incentives given to the Indians to live around them.
