Summary
Desertion of mission by fray Berraquero investigated by various religious, military and civil officials; travel restrictions discussed; desertion is forgiven by bishop of Durango; recommendation is eventually made that Berraquero go to Spain after evaluation of past misbehavior and present repentance; women referred to as two Indians with whom Berraquero consorted on one occasion.
