Summary
Garcia informs virrey that the ship cleopatra could be in danger of capture by Insurgentes. Inventory of ship's personnel, 120 names from ship cleopatra includes name and rank, merchandise on the ship for delivery in San Blas and Nueva California. Garcia informs virrey that gobernador of Nueva Mexico made a collection from population to pay the troops in that place. Inventory of money given to military company from Santa Fe and several supplies lists signed by Griego in January 2, 1820. Letter from Garcia to virrey informing him of Indian Pananas and the conflicts they have with the Comanches, also saying that the Pananas are receiving arms from people of united states in trade for their leather. Letter from Ochoa to Garcia informing him of military movement to cover provincias de oriente for a possible attempt from Washington. (D. Bautista, July 1990)

Auto regarding election of Alcaldes and other officials attended by Mecos Pames officials. Summary
Population census from San Ildephonso de la Cieneguilla carried out by governor Crespo in 1774-1775. It consists of a list of men, women, and children. An estimation of the number of Hiaqui and Pima Indians is also given. Tueros requests Bucareli not move him from Cieneguillas to el Pitic. Informes from Michelena, Maitorena, and Bergana to Crespo concerning the condition of commerce in los Placeres. All of them emphasize that the condition of production of los Placeres decreases from may to October because the Indians go to the hills and the Spaniards engage in agriculture tasks. Includes a report from Crespo dealing with the mine, commerce, population and agricultural conditions of los Placeres. (R. Gomez, November 1989)

Messa is designated to carry out a population census among Negroes, Indians and mulatos in order for gobierno de Sinaloa to collect taxes from them. Documents include a 41 page list of mulatos, Negroes, and Indians. The lists specify civil status, ethnicity, gender, age, and number of occupants per household. The lists are taken from el Mezquital, las Cruces, and el Sarampion Barrios; and from Chametla, Samora, el Guallabo, la Baiona and Camichin rancherias. Summary
Around midnight on August 31, 1805, steady rain breaches Arroyo, floods Croix. Casas moves entire population first to Piedras, then to Forlon (between Llera, Escandon), only defensible high-ground in area. Speaks of three years of extraordinary dryness, one of excessive rain. paperwork to make move permanent, report on natural resources of Forlon. Calleja objects that settling in Forlon leaves ranches near old Croix sin auxilios espirituales, ni temporales, open to attack by Tamaulipos; requires Villa be reestablished at Piedras, but promises to allow new Villa at Forlon if more than 30 people want to stay. Much debate of relative merits, disadvantages of each site; detailed geographic description of Forlon to demonstrate superiority to Piedras, signed by many vecinos. Order given to move everyone to Piedras, but some refuse to leave Forlon. All religious effects moved back to Piedras. Yturbe gives official threat that anyone remaining in Forlon will be rigorously prosecuted (may - F.193). Inventory of all church property (f.203). Garcia de Leon describes in detail what layout of new Villa should be (f.207). Map of nueba Villa de la Purissima Concepcion de Croix; key lists residents of each lot, proportions of lots, streets, Plazas (f.210).
