Concerns report to viceroy on findings of expedition made to place for construction of new presidio of el sacramento. Son of the governor is appointed captain of new presidio and assigned six hundreds pesos a month. Sargents are assigned four hundred a month. Chaplain and other authorities are appointed. Soldiers for the new presidio will be recruited from other presidios to take advantage of their experience in battle against Indians. Amounts of gun powder for each soldier are budgeted. (M.
