Summary
Luis Granillo questions an Indian prisoner concerning the murder of fray Francisco de Jesus. The Indian, Luis conixu, is from the Pueblo of San Diego de los Xemes. It seems that the Indian captain of war killed the Father, shot him as he stood in the doorway of a church. Another Indian was killed because it was stated that he had been a friend of the Spanish.
