Summary
2 men and 1 Boy killed, 53 mules stolen in Apache raid early in 1783. Fernandez de Cordova asks virrey to do something about frequent Indian raids in Nuevo Leon. Crespo suggests forming 200 men into 2 companias veteranas de Caballeria, and proposes positions and salaries. Crespo also suggests breaking companies at Lampazos, Rio Salado and Monterrey into 4 parties placed at entradas of Golondrinas, San Geronimo, Santa Rosa, Nacatas, la Culebra and San Bernabe where they are more greatly needed.
