Gutierrez is designated alferes to presidio de fronteras. Palacios is designated alferes to compania presidial de Orcasitas; Reyes Truxillo, Alferez to segunda compania volante; Ramon, for lieutenant to compania volante de Nuevo Leon. Negotiations of peace with Indians Lipanes are mentioned in a letter from December, 1790. Letters concerning notification of correspondence remitted and received from Nava to virrey between December 1792 to December 1790. Nava reports his arrival to Veracruz on August, 1790. Nava informs the virrey about an anonymous report of the lieutenant and treasurer from San Luis Potosi are accused of fraud; a copy of the report is present. (R.Gomez, January 1989)

Contains cover letters to Estados de fuerza, diaries of military campaigns and others materials not included in body of correspondence. Brief descriptions of Indian depredations at reales of Vallecillo and Iguana which mention number of Indian warriors, cattle and horses taken, plus retaliatory measures taken by militia and regulars. Mentions deposition of Spanish woman held captive by Indians (not included), and proposed campaign by Comanches against Apaches. (J. H. Ochs, November 1988)
