Summary
Diego de la Cruz leads indios Bernave Borrego and Juan Martin on robbery raid on hacienda of Juan de lanba- Aguero and are caught. The two indios sentenced to 4 years each labor at Juan Fernandez de Carrion's silver mine. Diego has history of having escaped from the mines twice before- so is sentenced to death. Execution carried out in public square by three Indians. (R. Davis) (1976)

Summary
A group of mulato and indio slaves of Domingo Apresa Falcon, led by Salvador, raid hacienda of Felipe de la Cueba Montano, killing and wounding some indio slaves of his. Felipe's guard Cristobal Madrid kills some of Domingo's group. Both sides go to court. Salvador confesses- sentenced to work silver mines. Domingo to pay 100 pesos plus court costs 629 pesos. (R. Summary
Valerio Cortes del rey brings suit against Andres Paez and Lorenzo for organizing various Concho and other Indians to attack hacienda of Valerio. In attack one of Valerio's mulato slaves killed. Trial ended with Andres and Lorenco sentenced to one year slavery to work silver mines. (R. Davis) (1976)

An account, with testimony of several people, of a mine accident resulting in the death of a number of miners. The documents, unfortunately, are barely legible in many places because of ink seepage, But, provided they can be deciphered, may be of some interest to historians of mining. It seems that considerable attention is directed to the location and recovery of the bodies of those killed in the accident. (C. Needham) (1975)

Summary
In this Series of documents it seems Domingo de Apressa was commissioned to put a ^stairway^ in one of his mines (San Francisco). The stairway proved to be poorly constructed and collapsed and Toribio is sueing Domingo. Each present a witness for their account. Justicia Martinez finds Domingo guilty and orders him to pay the costs for building a new stairway (^escalera^) plus a 20 peso Fee to the court. In this document Joseph de Santa Cruz declares that he will pay Don Diego de Cristiesca y Vasconcelos 600 pesos in gold (common) for ^crowning^ (diadenabidad) or opening his mine, and upon completion of project will present Don Diego with other goods including a female Negro slave named ^beatris^ of 12 or 13 years. A payment of 2 gold pesos a day extra will be added to the principle if the cigeral payment is late.
