Loans in Mexico for his expenses to get to Coahuila, and for maintenance of presidios. Mention that Ugarte unable to repay loan due to his small salary and requests an increase. Several documents are from his creditors trying to recover money from real hacienda. some creditors request interest on loans. Many of the letters are from civil officials verifying loans and seeking ways to repay them.
