Presidios of Julimes, Cerrogordo, San Saba, and Santa Rosa are combined into presidio de la junta de los Rios del Norte y Conchos. Gil is unable to inform virrey about establishment of missions due to his distance from them, and short time he has been there. Garrison of presidio del Pilar requests cancellation of letters of authority to collect salaries given under duress to Reneros Posada. Soldiers name Roldan to collect such salaries from Caja real in Zacatecas. Reneros Posada requests help from viceroy as Petris Cruzate interferes against Reneros Posada's claim. Investigation of claims by both parties is ordered by viceroy wh decides to pay salaries to soldiers and orders renero Posada to use courts independently of government interference to prosecute soldiers for monies owed.
