General account of Neve's wealth compiled by Corbalan including liquid assets, salaries, and account of Neve's expenses owned to various individuals; salary of Neve with deductions for Monte Pio, Invalidos, Media anata, and conduccion a Espana. Account of transport costs for goods bought from Neve's estate (receipt of muleteer). Account of Neve's expenses, costs of food items and household goods bought and services provided (carpentry, transportation, laundry); Series of receipts of money paid out by Neve's executors and funds deposited in Rosario treasury. Neve's widow prohibited from receiving the sum of inheritance Neve indicated in his will. List of gun powder and household goods for sale left at Neve's hacienda by Croix. Dongo and Corbalan correspond regarding freeing Neve's funds to pay Neve's debts, including debt to late doctor sales. Medina's letter introduces inventories and auction sales of Neve's belongings. Autos by Galindo Navarro regarding Neve's executors and funds they administered. Corbalan relates to virrey that he has paid the heirs of Neve's doctor and describes transactions of Neve's wealth liquidated through auction; virrey(?) Acknowledges receipt of letter. Galindo Navarro in auto describes death of Neve and his duties to make an inventory of Neve's belongings, put his papers in order, identify corpse, and gather keys. Copy of Neve's will (ff. 145-159). Summary
Document concerns grievances of soldiers of Nuevo Santander and company of llero who accompanied Zerna in transporting two prisoners, Murgier and Puga, to Mexico. F. 211 gives list of soldiers and orders soldiers to remain in Mexico until trial of two prisoners is completed. F. 217 is letter from one soldier, de Leon, complaining of extended stay and noting lack of adequate clothing and money for soldiers, who intended to go to Mexico and immediately return to N. Santander. More money, due to extended leave, is requested to provide for soldiers' needs. F. 222 provides list of salaries of each soldier. 250 pesos ordered sent to soldiers to aid them. F. 241 added some time later and tells of sudden death of de Leon and speaks of his having killed five Apaches in cold blood. (P. Lenz, March 1990)

Summary
Letter ordering the reporting of troop strength on the first day of each month, all points to send this information to comandante general except for Laredo and Villas who will send them directly to Monterrey, also the establishment of daily diaries of occurrences; includes two documents one entitled compania and the other tronco de caballada neither of which has been filled out; document titled milicias provinciales del Nuevo Santander which includes information on uniform supply, riding gear; lette stating that while the real erario is away and captains are not on active duty they should not receive a salary since they are men of means, Arredondo is to decide what the troops are in need of; document stating troop strength and destination for third fourth and fifth companies of Nuevo Santander; letter analyzing the numbers in last document regarding horses, weapons etc, finds that a high percentage of troops are virtually useless since they have neither arms or horses, recommendation that abov mentioned should leave the militia and the saving of money associated with the decrease of total salary disbursed should be used to better equip existing troops, possibility of requesting arms from settlers for use by militia and troops. Informe concerning monetary malpractices in Missiones. Describes overpricing of articles by Jesuits in order to obtain 150% more money than Baja California, and thus be able to attract a larger population by means of a higher pay, changing servant status into muleteer status in some presidios in order to be included in military payroll, a number of mistakes in previous calculation explain how a round figure of four thousand pesos per presidio is requested by Monterrey, and three thousand by San Francisco and San Diego while they really should get 1600 and 1200 respectively, and futile efforts to bridge the differences. Detailed description of difficulties in every day life in Alta California, trying to justify a raise in pay. Letters granting a total of five thousand two hundred pesos for the four presidios and a raise of four hundred pesos for clothing. Letter describing living conditions and architecture of presidios in Alta California, arguing that it will be cheaper to rebuild than to repair. Letter from Monterrey complaining about difficulty in finding Indians to repair the presidio due to the cold winter. Letter requesting revision of final figures to presidios in Alta California, since Fages (who had the decree) passed away. Description of Californias demography. Summary
Letters concerning money allocation for presidios in Alta California. Includes request for raise in pay in Monterrey explaining that expenses are different in different locations. Letter instructing governor of California to distribute as he wishes a total sum of 12000 pesos between the presidios, there will be no raise in the total amount due to large expenses incurred by king in war against Britain. Letter recommending to stop buying cloth due to high prices in Castilla and lack of money in California. Documents mentioning previous documents related to allocation of money to presidios in California while no money has been received by officers. List of goods that have to be payed for, includes different types of cloth, Mantas, hats and shoes . Originals and copies of documents ordering to pay capitan Carcaba the required money for expenses incurred in presidios in previous years. Letters from treasurer promising to give money to Carcaba. Letter from Carcaba asking for specific instructions of what to do with money since it won't be enough for all expenses incurred. Letter concerning payment to Indians employed in construction of Santa Barbara's presidio as it is common in other presidios. Letters ordering payment of approved amounts of money for presidios in San Diego, San Francisco, Monterey and Santa Barbara.
