Detailed statements by witnesses and those accused included. Original sentence was death by hanging but since no hangman could be found, sentence was carried out by firing squad. Interesting remarks on the need to force non-tributary paying Indians to help fund religious activities. Pacification is gradually spreading. A letter which reports to the king Coronado's actions and the state of affairs in Nueva Galicia and further north. He speaks of the lack of christianization of the Indians and the rebellious spirit which prevails among them. Special mention is made of the residents of San Miguel, who wish to move to a district in which they will be closer to a number of Indians, as is their present location the Indians are reluctant to serve them, the Spaniards being so far from their homes.
