Summary
Request for troops, funds and arms to be prepared for accidents or invasion by pirates. Fear that marriage of king of Spain with daughter of revelde of Portugal could endanger Havana, such as an invasion by English. Many soldiers have fled especially after receiving their latest pay and were unable to pay their debts. Request for funds to repair the fortifications of the 5 castles and repair 1500 fire arms. Provides figures of 1000 infantry plus mulatos and free blacks and slaves who are in military service. (L. L. Woodward, August 1989)

Series of repetitive testimonies from americans, including several Negro slaves, caught in Texas herding mules and apaloosa horses to U.s. Animals were traded primarily by Comanches and Tahuacanes for beads, mirrors, cloth, tin plates, dyes, flintstones, and other gun accessories. Summary
Series of very repetitive transcripts of interrogations of Anglo-Americanos captured in several parts of Texas. Many confess to trading cloth, beads, dyes, and other trinkets with Indians for horses. Others hunting for bison under contract from Cook. Spanish interrogators especially interested in information concerning General Long, who is suspected of planning attack on Spanish territories from Louisiana. All captives, which include several Negro slaves, deny any connection with Long or rebel activities in Texas. Questions and responses nearly identical for all prisoners. (A. Tukey, October 1988)

Summary
A Series of letters between Vaamonde and the virrey out an execution when in his area there was no official execution by using a Former Negro slave to perform the execution, orders for Vaamonde to travel to Punto de Lamparos, decree prohibiting Indians from leaving their homes unless they have necessary papers from district judge, parrish priest, or minister of documents, Vaamonde's deteriorating health during trip to Punto de lamparaos and subsequent rehabilitation in saltilo, compliance with an order to determine status of any peace initiatives with Indians of the area, the terms of any peace agreements and manner in which Indians have abided by said agreements, complying with order to make Nava inspector in addition to his current rank as comandante general and brigadier. Castaneda transferred to compania volante of San Carlos de Parras from compania volante of Nueva Vizcaya. 2) baptismal notices of children of Castaneda Quevedo, Eugenio Fernandez 3) Campo de Alange informs Revilla Gigedo that he awarded pension of 8 pesos/month to J M Florez whose husband died in Lipanes wars. 4) M J Garibay informs virrey that she sends her shameless, bad-mannered servant to her husband for correction.
