Six Vidai Indians presented themselves to Cabello in Bexar to thank him for the recent gifts offered to the Vidais and their friends. In the presidio at the time were the enemies of the Vidais, the Taboayazes and the Guachitas. Cabello was surprised at how friendly they treated each other. (M. Bowman) (1980)

Reports on a meeting with 27 Indians from the northern tribes to thank him for naming Guersec their capitan. The ceremony includes the smoking of the pipe.
