Summary
In this Series of documents it seems Domingo de Apressa was commissioned to put a ^stairway^ in one of his mines (San Francisco). The stairway proved to be poorly constructed and collapsed and Toribio is sueing Domingo. Each present a witness for their account. Justicia Martinez finds Domingo guilty and orders him to pay the costs for building a new stairway (^escalera^) plus a 20 peso Fee to the court. It is interesting that general martinez del beingolea is designated as a free mulatto, and holds such an important post. He also appears in a later case- Film 318 1649c 1506b-1511b.
