Summary
The participants account of their journey from Santa Fe, New Mexico to Monterey California. It is in diary form and includes remarks on geography, natural history, Indians, conversions, utah lake. The party did not reach Monterey, but stopped at utah lake and then returned to New Mexico. This document is rich in geographic description, but has few remarks on Indian customs or contacts between Spanish and Indians. (J. Grusin) (1976)
