These are five petitions written by fr. Mariano Francisco de los Dolores, four to the capitan, Don Toribio de Urritia and one to the governor and captain general, giving an account of the missions and complaining especially about the misconduct of the Apaches. They were written between the years 1749 and 1751. Three of these are original documents and bear the autograph of fr. Mariano Francisco de los Dolores. The other two are without signatures.
