Summary
Acknowledging receipt of a report concerning corporal Lucero's trip to the Comanche. Lucero discovered no signs of foreigners, and the Comanche had not changed their attitudes towards the Spaniards. More than 1,000 Comanches visited Santa Fe and exhausted supplies of gifts for Indians. Conde informs Melgares that more gifts will be sent to Santa Fe from Durango. (R. Jackson) (1981)
